DMV’s own Wale was featured on The Monique Show tonight for all of you who were too busy watching *cough* The Bad Girls Club*cough*.  This interview was actually VERY good and I’m proud of Wale for holding his own.

Poor Monique.… Why oh Why did you think that Kanye and Mary J. Blige were on the album? I usually love me some Monique but #cmonson?

I love hearing Wale speak, not only does he represent our area to the fullest, but the DMV slang is ever so obvious when he talks.

Besides Monique playing telephone and such…. Wale performed “Pretty Girls” from Attention: Deficit and shouted out Weensey (another DC native from the Backyard Band whose voice is in the beginning of the original go-go track).
