Born and raised in N.W., Underground rapper Whoa, with his hard-hitting beats and introspective lyrics, digs deep into the crevices of DC and unearths the most authentic narratives of adversity, pandemonium and perseverance yet to be told.
Whoa got his start as the lead vocalist for a local go-go group The Young Legends Band in the late 90′s. After the band broke up, he continued to hone his writing and composing skills which evolved into a stylistic rhetoric which offers new insight to the revolutionary works of his influences Jay-Z, UGK, Nas, LL Cool J and Tupac.
