..at your scale that is – here’s advice from Ms. Jackson herself!
Ladies – now we ALL are guilty of staring at those scales trying to get to that “perfect target weight” in our minds. But – after years of yoyo diets and extremes – Janet Jackson has some advice for all of us seeking to get “our sexy back” for the summer.
“I don’t know how much weight I’ve lost, only because I stay away from the scale,” Jackson told PEOPLE at Marco Glavianos “Supermodels” exhibit in New York recently.
“I don’t think [stepping on the scale] is healthy. You’re setting yourself up to fail and women’s bodies fluctuate every month – certain time of the month in particular – we bloat a great deal,” she says.
No doubt about that! Those scales will scare you straight into the fastest ice-chip diet imaginable if you obsess over it! Janet (who is a NutriSystem spokeswoman) went on to say that since being on the weight loss program she “LOVES their caramel apples” and in addition to watching her plate – she is a firm believer in working out. When she’s getting ready for a tour – Janet works out SIX days a WEEK!
Whew! Talk about DEDICATION.
