..Success doesn’t just start as a musician – BMI Urban Awards is proof of that alone.
There were several artists and celebs in the building to see many of your faves honored at the BMI Urban Awards. Of all those honored the 2012 BMI Urban Icon Award went to the wonderful and uber-talented Mariah Carey.
So many people forget the wonderful contributions she has made to the music community. Her speech was beautiful and humbling to say the least.
