Where does YOUR favorite artist fall on the Billboard this week?
Adele still at the top of the charts this week with her hit “Someone like you”. Are you surprised? I’m sure you aren’t. Ever since her debut, she has been any and everywhere with her original sound and heartfelt lyrics. For her 16th consecutive week – she’s reigning on the Billboard charts as well. Nice.
Unfortunately, she has to take an “extended rest period” for those beautiful vocals of hers. For now, fans will have to enjoy her “Live At The Royal Albert Hall” CD/DVD which will be available for purchase November 29th.
Next up on the charts – Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris single “We Found Love” made a jump from #6 to the #2 slot. Not bad considering the five-week span its had on the charts in the first place. I’m really not a fan of that single however. She’s growing on me musically – but I hate songs that I can’t figure out the lyrics to. Not to mention the video was kinda eh to me.
Another single to make an impressive jump was the Drake & Nicki Minaj hit “Make me proud”. It went from #97 in week one to entering the #9 spot by week two. Not bad. Not bad at all. For more info on your faves fell this week – check out Billboard’s Top 100 list here.
